We took our summer vacation this year again at Long Beach Island NJ.

The beach there is so nice. It only rained a few days, unlike last year when it rained all week.

We tried to hang out at the beach as much as possible.

 

I love to go boogie boarding.

We went for lots of bike rides.

 

It rained for a few days.

So we played some games inside.

 

It was raining real lightly so we went for a bike ride!

The next morning we got up and watched the sunrise, it was great

 

Then it was sunny all day, woo hoo back to the beach.

 

Nick and Larry went on a fishing boat and Nick caught this fish.

We later cleaned it and he had it for lunch.

 

During one rainy day we went to Philadelphia to check out the Ben Franklin Museum.

It is a great learning experience for kids and adults alike.

The kids did domino’s.

Climbed a rock wall.

This was way cool.

This is a small chunk of a 150ft,. 300,000 pound nickel-iron meteorite that fell to earth near Flagstaff, Arizona about 50,000 years ago. It is 5.5 billion years old; 500 million years older than the Earth itself.

 

 

We also got in a few tennis lessions.

The bird did what we did…just having fun.

We all agree that beach days are better.
